Sr. Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant at Alfardan Automobiles will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end/year-end closing processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in the automobile industry. Experience with Autoline software is considered an advantage.

Job Responsibility:

- Manage financial reporting processes
- Oversee general ledger management
- Conduct month-end and year-end closings
- Utilize Autoline software for accounting tasks
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Candidate Requirements:

- Locally Available
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in the automobile industry
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Familiarity with Autoline software is a plus
- Postgraduate degree in Accounts & Finance/ CA Inter/ ACCA/ or other similar professional qualification

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Ability to prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
