Job Description
The Accountant is responsible in maintaining proper record and accounting of daily operations in Alfardan Properties - Oman Branch, while ensuring that the accounting records are maintained in compliance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the preparation of periodical management information reports.
- Providing financial information through regularly generated reports
- Ensuring that set Accounting Processes, policies, systems and programs across Business Units are followed.
- Provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information.
- Maintenance of organized & complete source document files, ensuring compliance with policies & procedures.
- Ensures that the GL is up to date and reconciled.
- Timely & accurate processing of all documents, and maintenance of supporting records.
- Contributes to development of improved finance policies & processes.
- Satisfaction of Business Units with Finance services.
- Proper review of all information produced under area of responsibility.
- Preparation & analyses of Reports.
- Meet agreed time for work completion/deadlines.
- Liaison with other departments for work related matters.
- Ensures timely & accurate processing of non-payroll disbursements to individuals, and other entities.
