Job Description
Responsible for managing and maintaining organization’s database system (MS SQL Server), ensuring that it is secure, reliable, and efficient while adhering to company standards (ISO 9001:2015) Perform technical and functional troubleshooting and on‐call support; install and tests upgrades and system patches; track problems and requests for system enhancements and upgrades and resolve problems as they occur. Support application development across various industries, including Property, Hospitality, Real Estate, Agriculture, Retail, Trading and e-Commerce. Expertise in database management, application development, and project leadership, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical business systems.
Database Administration & Management
- Manage MS SQL Server databases, including backup, recovery, performance tuning, security, and integrity.
- Implement High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Failover Clustering, and replication.
- Optimize databases using SQL Profiler, execution plans, and indexing strategies.
- Administer multi-database environments (MSSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, in-memory databases).
- Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and complex queries.
- Support Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, ETL processes).
Application Development & Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, Java, Python, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Work with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and frameworks (Laravel, .NET).
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system connectivity.
- Ensure mobile app development (Android/iOS) using Kotlin, Swift, React Native, or Flutter.
- Manage version control (GitHub) and developer consoles (Apple Developer, Google Play).
Project Management & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and vendor implementations.
- Ensure SLA compliance, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Analyze business requirements and optimize workflows for efficiency.
Industry-Specific Solutions
- Property / Hospitality / Real Estate: Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), CRMs, and ERPs.
- Agriculture: Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and agribusiness operations.
- e-Commerce: Understanding of payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, CyberSource, QPAY), order processing, and security protocols.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide L2/L3 support for databases, applications, and integrations.
- Resolve performance bottlenecks, system errors, and functional issues.
- Monitor database health, security logs, and application stability.
Skills Description
