Summary:
The Parts Advisor in a luxury automotive company is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the procurement and sale of parts and accessories for high-end vehicles. They maintain inventory records, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers and technicians.
Job Responsibility:
1. Interact with customers to identify their parts requirements and provide recommendations.
2. Source and order parts from suppliers, ensuring accuracy, quality, and competitive pricing.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and update the database with stock levels and part numbers.
4. Coordinate with the service department to ensure the timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs.
5. Process parts orders, track shipments, and resolve any issues with incorrect or delayed deliveries.
6. Handle customer inquiries, provide price quotes, and assist in determining the availability of specific parts.
7. Assist in the organization of the parts department and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
8. Stay updated on new parts, accessories, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Parts Advisor in an automotive setting, preferably in a luxury car dealership.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
4. Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer software.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive parts a plus.
