Job Description
The Senior Accountant – Treasury is responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and treasury operations. This role ensures optimal utilization of funds, mitigates financial risks, and supports strategic financial decisions through effective treasury management.
- Oversee daily treasury operations including cash positioning, funding, and liquidity management.
- Monitor and forecast cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient banking services and fee structures.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and oversee related journal entries and reports.
- Analyze and report on treasury KPIs such as cash balances, liquidity ratios, and cash forecasts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support treasury audits, compliance activities, and risk management practices.
- Prepare treasury-related reports and presentations for senior management.
- Recommend improvements in treasury processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to cash management.
Skills Description
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or related finance functions.
- Solid knowledge of cash flow management, banking operations, and treasury tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity and accuracy in handling financial information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification is preferred.
